Worked with City of San Gabriel, Los Angeles County, Metrorail and structural engineers to create a bridge design that celebrates San Gabriel’s role as birthplace of the hula hoop. Design work included fencing, light fixtures, a median strip with hula hoop symbols and sycamore leaf and acorn concrete inlays on the sidewalks and walls.
