Go For Broke

Working with a team of architects, engineers and local community representatives to redevelop a former LADOT parking lot next to the Geffen Contemporary in downtown Los Angeles into a multi-building multi-story affordable housing project in downtown Little Tokyo. Site also includes commercial space at the ground floor level and a park / paseo connecting the Japanese American Art Museum and MOCA to the Go For Broke monument commemorating Japanese American veterans who fought in WWII. Design work encompasses public plazas, community gardens, and private roof top gathering spaces for tenants.
